​Guidelines for Submissions

The editors of the journal invite submissions of original, unpublished manuscripts.

The NOJ is published once a year. Submission of scholarly articles, comment pieces, and multimedia projects is welcome. Contributions to the journal may be in English, Russian, French or German.


We are currently inviting submissions on all Nabokov-related topics. 

Book reviews should be of new or current publications in the area of Nabokov studies.

Format: Please, use the Chicago Manual of Style. The articles should be approximately five to twenty typed, double-spaced pages (based on a twelve-point font) in Word format.
Articles must contain footnotes and not endnotes.
Bibliography should be listed under the Works Cited.
Article submissions, questions, and commentaries should be sent by e-mail attachment to the Editor, Dr. Yuri Leving: yleving@gmail.com, or by mailing a paper version to:
